Our shipping rates are determined by UPS unless we are offering flat rate shipping. WE DO NOT SET THE SHIPPING RATES.
Buck Wild Bison is committed to delivering our premium bison meat to you in excellent condition and as fast as possible. We ship all over the United States, and we know how to get your bison meat to you in excellent condition. Our bison products are individually vacuum sealed and frozen before being packed in insulated shipping containers and covered with dry ice and ice packs to ensure freshness. UPS will deliver your order, and you will receive tracking information via e-mail. To maintain optimal freshness, we suggest you are home to receive your order when it arrives.
We typically ship orders Monday and Tuesday for orders received the day prior. Once you receive notification that your order of bison meat has shipped, you should receive your order in 1-2 business days. Orders will not be delivered on the weekend, and we time the shipping to ensure your order arrives before the weekend.
All orders are shipped Monday and Tuesday, and you can expect to receive your order within 2 days based on your location. Any order placed by 2 pm EST on Tuesday will be included in that week's shipments. You should receive your order in 1-2 business days.
We do our best to keep your bison completely frozen throughout its travels; however, some of the smaller cuts may arrive partially thawed. It is completely safe and healthy to put everything in your order back in the freezer without any worry of loss of quality, or your bison should still be cold and can be enjoyed fresh. Only when the meat has returned to a temperature above 40 degrees Fahrenheit should you avoid refreezing.
FAILED SHIPMENT & ORDER PROTECTION POLICY: We do our best to ensure your bison arrives in perfect condition. However, shipping mishaps can happen.
For Orders with Order Protection: If you purchased Order Protection at checkout, your package is fully insured against being lost, damaged, or stolen during transit. If your meat arrives warm (defined as above 40 degrees with the tip of a thermometer in the middle of the meat) due to a delay, is damaged, or goes missing, please file a claim through our Claims Portal immediately. We will prioritize a replacement or store credit for approved claims.
For Orders WITHOUT Order Protection: If you opted out of protection, Buck Wild Bison is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged after they leave our facility. This includes orders left out and ruined after delivery. In these cases, you must file a claim directly with UPS.
Temperature Issues: If a shipment arrives late and the meat is above 40°F when measured from the middle of the meat due to a carrier delay, and you have Order Protection, please submit photos of a meat thermometer reading to our Claims Portal within 24 hours for a resolution.
The customer is responsible for actively tracking the delivery via the UPS tracking code provided to ensure that the delivery does not remain outside for more than 1 hour.
