Finally Bison Are a Part of NJ

Whew...it has been a long road trying to bring America's national mammal to southern New Jersey. We did not start this company as hereditary farmers (nobody in our family farmed), so trying to raise bison and provide Americans with healthy bison meat was not the easiest endeavor to take on. But, after three years of perseverance, Buck Wild Bison has real, live bison on our very own farm in NJ!

Once we got the fencing up and set up a corral system that will allow us to humanely care for these majestic animals, we slowly started introducing our bison to their new home. Our farm has incredibly lush grass, so these big beasts couldn't wait to get out to pasture.

Once we had them tagged and sorted, we released them into the pasture. We have one little guy in our herd, and he's already testing how far he can stray from momma. She's keeping a bison eye on him though. 

We are excited to continue our journey and produce the best bison meat on the planet. We hope you continue to be a part of it. Bison were once nearly extinct, but farmers have brought this great animal back to stability. In spite of all the processed and chemically altered food, it's refreshing to know that our native mammal provides a healthy food source to Americans.
