Our new farmland has finally dried up after a long and wet winter, so we decided to start building our driveway. Our land is wild and untouched, so we need a way to get around the farm and attend to our bison. With our trusty, old tractor and our new box blade, we were able to make quick work of carving out a nice foundation for our road.

This is just the beginning though. Next, we will truck in some crushed asphalt to spread over the dirt. This will give us a nice, gravel surface to drive on, which is important when driving a heavy truck and bison trailer back and forth.
Even though we've been working hard on the farm, we still find time to enjoy some of our delicious bison meat. We recently cooked up some of our tender bison NY strip steak paired with fresh asparagus. For tips on how to cook a bison strip steak, check out our previous blog here. All of our bison meat is available online, so please check out our store at www.buckwildbison.com.
